The 3rd annual Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) Gratitude Event was held on November 1, in McGowan Auditorium at Presbyterian Village North (PVN). The occasion served as an important reminder to embrace gratitude in every aspect of life. OAW VIPs took the opportunity to express their gratitude, sharing what they are thankful for with other attendees.
Rabbi Howard Wolk, Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas Chaplain, shared a Jewish prayer of gratitude and offered numerous examples of thankfulness found in scripture. Following suit, Rev. Jarod A. Cooper, Faith Presbyterian Hospice Chaplain, shared a personal story of gratitude accompanied by relevant scripture passages.
The gathering provided a wonderful start to the day and marked the beginning of the Thanksgiving season. As the event concluded, OAW VIPs were treated to a tour of PVN’s Hawthorne building and a beautiful model apartment, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the occasion.
