The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) welcomed nearly 300 residents, teammates and family members to its Harvest Festival for an afternoon of fall fun.
The event offered a variety of activities to keep guests active and entertained, including bracelet-making and coloring crafts, cornhole, croquet, ring toss and putting green games. The Salt Creek band provided live music, while caricatures and face painting added to the festivities.
Everyone filled their plates at the Harvest Market which offered delicious food stations including the French Dip Slider Shop, a salad bar, a Taste of Texas serving chili and cornbread, the Little Harvesters Mac & Cheese Bar, a dessert cart, as well as lemonade and cider. There was truly something for all to enjoy.
Guests also had a chance to admire the creative pumpkin designs and see which entries took home top honors for OAW’s Pumpkin Decorating Contest. The afternoon was the perfect way for the OAW community to enjoy the fall season.
Dian Knight, Executive Assistant at OAW shared, “Everyone had a wonderful time at the Harvest Festival! The band was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious, featuring all the warm and comforting flavors of fall. I really enjoyed spending time with our residents and their families, and it was so fun to see all the kiddos enjoying the games and activities. It was especially hilarious to witness the friendly competition between residents and teammates. That’s what community is all about: making memories and welcoming a beautiful new season together!”
